NOVEMBER 2024
BASE LEAGUE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
Thank you to Coach Lilah, Coach Greg, and Coach Joe for your leadership and enthusiasm these past two months!
Navy AC hosted a beginners water polo league for 5-8th grade athletes who were interested in trying out water polo. We had a fantastic turn out and ended with an impressive blue vs gold match this past weekend.
Look for a Spring Rec League coming April 2025!

Peter Sabbatini
Coach Peter Sabbatini has been selected to the Collegiate Water Polo Association Hall of Fame for 2024! He will be inducted later this year at Princeton University.

ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN
We have 12 athletes this year who have been named USA Water Polo Academic All-Americans! Student-Athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Congratulations on a job well done both in and out of the pool!

14U Finn McInerney has been named to the National Junior Olympics All-American Honorable Mention list for his performance this past summer in Texas.

USA WATER POLO - JUNIOR OLYMPICS!
While the NAVY AC High School Boys traveled to Barcelona this summer - our girls side and younger boys team traveled to California and Texas to compete in USA Water Polo National Junior Olympics! Fantastic job to all of our JO athletes this past summer.

CHARM CITY POLO CLINIC IS UP AND RUNNING!
Thank you to Coach Max and Coach Kevin for providing an opportunity to practice water polo in Baltimore!
Navy AC is hosting a water polo clinic for middle school and high school players who are looking to improve their skills during the winter months.
Practices are held at Johns Hopkins University on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5-7pm and Sunday at USNA from 1-4pm.

We had athletes represented in all three age divisions (Development - Cadet - Youth) for both boys and girls!

Southern Florida International Water Polo Tournament
Navy AC sent three age group teams plus a combined NavyAC/Capitol girls team to compete against teams from across the nation as well as other countries. Our players stepped up to the challenge - played early morning games as well as games late into the night - and came away with an amazing team experience.
